Lots of people are catching fish by the marina right now. Small walleyes.
There is a boat launch at half moon bay and if you head east after the first point, you hit a spot alot of people fish at.
It drops from 5 feet to 30 feet.

yeah everyone wants to launch at the marina cuz they are catching fish there so of course everyone want to make a few bucks.
But i'm pretty sure you can launch at the Sylvan Provincal park in town. If not, go to half moon bay. Good boat launch and its free.

Thanks for the map, I'll be there on the 20th for a few days, and when we're not tubing or skiing Ill have to take the kids fishing. Wasn't sure where to go but that map helps alot. Thanks!! What is the best way to catch the Walleye, trolling or jigging. I don't want to take my trolling motor if I don't have to, space is limited!!

I was working in that area yesterday so i drove down the half moon bay road to check out the boat launch...its only sand and no concrete I only have a 2 wheel drive only and don't want to get stuck .

Do any of the above have concrete like the marina.

Whats the marina like for parking on a saturday.

Where is the provincial launch ?

I've used the Sunbreaker Cove launch last year and it was great, concrete, no charge. I thought that it was more on the Northwest corner of the lake but it might be N.E. like slipbobber said.

Not sure what I was thinking of at the time but Sunbreaker Cove is on the north west end of the lake.

Sunbreaker Cove launch is off the Rainy Creek Road west of Hwy 11. Watch for the signs.
