This is a kamloops trout and lake has fish up to 16# ......when i got to the lake everybody was chromie fishing catching fish to the 6# range and i found a bay nobody was fishing that was 2 feet deep at the beginning but had a 5 1/2 foot bay at the end guess where i headed............this was one of 6 fish that i landed and the smallest one was 6 1/2 and this one weigh in at 14.2 50 minutes after being out of the water.............great fight on a 6# was close to 45 minutes took me all around the lake.

nice fish! do you know the kamloops area quite well? I am planning on being out there this summer and need some advice

I love the Thompson river, upstream and down stream from the 'loop.

Big resident rainbows, steelhead, big bullies, whites, salmon(!), and pikeminnows and suckers

Salmon

From little fort to 100 mile house there is a handfull of really good lakes that produce big fish..........hoards of lakes some wierd camping though

if u watch brian chan shows he tells you about his favorite lake which is roach............i have a couple i like besides that with brookies in them
