Vortex Open Box and Demo Sale Coming Soon!

Please read carefully:

Many thanks to Vortex Canada for allowing us to liquidate their open-box inventory again. We have done this a few times before and there has always been excellent demand.
As there is a big demand, we are posting this thread as a 'heads up' to give all of our clients time to look it over.
Please do not contact us to order these in advance. We want to be fair to all of our clients and we need to receive these and look them over first. It will be about two weeks before we have these on our website for sale. We will give notice so that all who are interested will have time to decide. We will give notice to the exact time that it will go live on the website, at least 24 hours ahead.

Grading:
A: Box is open but the item is like new. Even when looked over very closely, it will appear new.
B: Box is open. Item appears new but MAY, upon very close inspection, show very slight evidence of handling.
C: Box is open, packaging may be incomplete or incorrect. The item may show some evidence of handling, mounting, etc. Our experience with other liquidations for Vortex Canada is that even the 'C' items are excellent.

Warranty: These items are fully warrantied by Vortex Canada.

Please feel free to email us (info@prohetriver.com) with any inquires or post in this thread. Please do not ask us to reserve an item for you.

Pricing. The regular prices in blue are mostly the regular price we sold new identical items for. Our company or others may have some cheaper at times but these are for easy reference only. If you are interested in an item please research to be certain you are getting a great deal. C: oooh ya, was fun last time, thanks prophet river/vortex, i know you'll be posting here but will you be e-mailing account holders with 24 hours notice.

P: We will send out a newsletter to all subscribers 48-72 hours ahead of time. If you have not subscribed to the newsletter , be sure to do so. Of course, we will also update this thread. At some point in the next week or so, we will also post up again some hints on the best ways to be successful getting high demand items. Its been a year or so since the last sale so many will want a refresher. Lots of time, we will update in coming days!!

C: Got one of my wish list on there. Will you be doing a limit per customer to avoid someone clearing you out and flipping them?

P: if they try that, they will likely end up with nothing. We will post here later how the cart works but it is not yours until it is checked out. If you take too much time loading the cart up, someone else might buy it first.

C: Thanks for doing this again! I see something on the list that I have been pricing out lately. Does the number in brackets denote the quantity available?

C: I remember last time a Viper PST priced at 1000 or so and a Razor at 2000 stayed there for a few days. The volume is larger now providing a better chance for expensive products. The scopes under 500 will be gone in a second.

P: Two sales ago, was a bigger one. There were 65K in orders in less than 5 minutes....

C: First timer here, looking forward to the sale !! I am interested in several items, when you say subscribe to your newsletter to get notified 48-72hrs in advance is that through your website or an option on cgn?

Are all of these items going up for sale on your website under a special category " vortex sale" or will they all be under your optics section and I will have to filter through manufacturers to find the scope I'm after? Thanks prophet river

Here are a few hints we posted last sale. A few things to think about for planning:

1. Remember, the item is not yours unless it is checked out. It is not yours just because it is in your cart. So, plan accordingly.
2. There are ways to check out quickly using autofill and paying by EMT. The EMT order is considered 'checked out' once you select it and complete. As ,long as the EMT is here in 24 hours, the item is yours.
3. If trying for multiple items you may want to buy one at a time, it takes longer to load the cart with more than one. If you do go back and get a second or third item, select 'in store pickup' for those orders. (so, its free shipping) and we will combine with the first order that you paid shipping on.
4. If you have other regular items you want you can either do #3 or have those items already in your cart before the vortex sale goes live.
5. If you wish to pay credit card but you are worried you may lose the item while you are entering it, there is a credit card option for calling in to store later. This option MAY be quicker for you. Please don't call in right away as we only have four phone lines. The item is yours once you checkout, payment can come later.
