Default Out with the truck but poor perch fishing

We were out on the Lake yesterday and today driving around with the truck about 10-12 inches of ice all over the place. Clear hard ice. Some wash water in areas and from 2-12 inches of snow covering. Fished all over the place and didn't catch anything yesterday. Caught some micro perch today and only two worth keeping around 9 inches. It was Brrrrr.... cold out there -25C and felt like -40 with the wind chill! Didn't even see any bigger ones swim by on the camera. Lost one pike at the hole, broke my line. All fish caught on Cicada's.

Default Here's the video from my day

Here is the video from our slow day with some Cicada fishing tips. My brother was doing some funny fishing dance behind me that I was unaware of. He also had some commentary about me being a diehard fisherman and this was me dieing hard.

it is brutal cold out there lately but at least you could warm up in your truck. lots of places can't drive to due to snow. congrats on your perch.
