Default 2 Old Guys Walleye hunting

Wow !!!! fun time for 2 Old Guys

Caught lots of Eye's and Pike

19 1/2 inch being the biggest

but next year we are trying for the 43cm to 50 cm class

could not find the Whites rising/hunting

but filled our under 43cm tags with ease

Great trip Tim

Smoke Lake Sept 2014

enjoy

David

Tagging was done as we took out of water and cleaned ..gills removed and stomach .. which is immediately ..then put on ice for the trip home

for the pictures they were held out of water

Tagging instructions
A walleye that is retained must be tagged immediately through the gill cavity and mouth with a paper tag and wire. To tag your walleye refer to the instructions on the tag.

Just for next time, I believe that you have to tag emediatly when catching if you intend to keep the fish. If you don't, they could possibly fine you for culling, i think its called. Someone correct me if i'm wrong. Just trying to save you some money and headaches.

No offence but lets not go there again. Congrats on the fish David. Looks like a great time. I sense a derail...
