Default North Ram

Fished it on Thursday. Levels were good, but not much chance of crossing at my usual points as the flow rate was pretty high. Fishing was only fair and a lot of the old holes are gone.
It's become a bit of a zoo with a lot of young folks building lean tos along the shore and hammocks strung up in the bush.
There is also some sort of tent encampment at KM 64. It could belong to all the workers that are clear cutting the forest along the northside of the North Fork Road. They are working less than 200 yards from the road. Logging traffic was pretty high for that stretch.

Such a shame to see the total disregard for PLUZ ethics. Any pit toilet is filled to the top with garbage and the river might as well be Sylvan Lake on the weekends. I still love it out there in September when the crowds go away, but it's a different place for sure.

Beautiful river, but I rarely fish it. Sounds like it’s getting worse out there. What kinda shape are the cutthroat in? Much scarring from all the hookups?
