Island lake

I haven’t been to island lake by athabasca since i was a kid want to take the nefew out fiahing.
Like going after perch but really what ever bites for the youngster.
Ill be coming from Edmonton how do i get on the ice.

best bet would be to stop at the store on the highway. they should be able to give directions.

The boat launch is just up the road from the store on the NW corner of the lake. Easy to find and get to. Can't remember if there's a sign on the hwy or not though.
