Default Victoria BC Hotel Recommendations

Heading to Victoria for 3 nights in early March.

Wondering if anyone can recommend a decent hotel w/parking in Victoria!

Also looking for a restaurant recommendation as well.

Thank you

Depends on what you want to spend we usually stay at the The Fairmont Empress Hotel its a little pricy but right where we like to be they do charge for parking.
You can go a little further out we have stayed at the Howard Johnson Hotel & Suites at 4670 Elk Lake Drive has always been good but you will need to drive anywhere you want to go. They do have free parking.

Don't get the Howard Johnson on Elk Drive confused with the one Gorge Rd, We made the mistake one time rooms were terrible there.

We have a car and will be going on day trips. I have stayed at the Empress before when Victoria was part of my sales territory. A bit above what I want to spend at $750 for 3 nights w/ king bed with parking and full deposit up front.
Visiting my 2 sons in Victoria( University students) so I will be opening up my wallet wide just taking them for dinner over 3 days lol.

Should have included my budget in the first post.
Looking for under $200 a night all taxes/fees and parking included

Will certainly check out the Elk Drive Ho-Jo's

Nautical Nellies is a great seafood restaurant. Short walk from the Empress.

We stayed at the Laurel point quite a few years ago. Nice place and right on the harbour. I can't remember what we did with the car, but it couldn't have been too big of a hassle since I don't remember it.

Default Delta

Try the Delta, stayed there a couple of times, very nice and great views.
Parking above ground, quick walk across the bridge to downtown or jump on one of the little buggy boats in the bay.

If you're interested in a B&B, we stay here when we go to Victoria, the owners are fantastic, rooms are amazing, breakfasts are delicious, rates are decent. We usually stay in the honeymoon suite, has great views, bed is super comfy, they have other suites that are more in your budget. All the rooms are self contained, have fridges, toasters, microwave and kick ass bathrooms. It is near Royal Roads University.

Red Fish Blue Fish on the warf downtown has awesome food, gotta get there early to beat the line ups though. My favorite is BBQ Fanny Bay oyster Sandwich

As mentioned, Nautical Nellies is another awesome place

If you like Dim Sum, the best I've ever had is in China Town at Don Mee

Best Pho I've ever had and I've tried many places is Pho Vuong

The Harbour Towers in downtown Victoria is were we usually stay. It is downtown and a nice place to stay.. In March rates are usually less expensive.. Also try the Accent Inn, the one we stayed at is on Blanchard Street. Only 10 minutes from downtown.. As for somewhere to eat there are many to choose from, just depends on what you want...

Took my mom here for New Years a few years ago. It is an old hotel, conveniently located, very nice ambiance.

Restaurant recomendation: http://www.pagliaccis.ca/

If you like pasta, this place is great. We had a great time there when in Victoria last year, and we even had some live music. It's a great place for sure! Don't skip dessert...

We stay at the Laurel Point, ask for one of the new/renovated rooms. They have underground parking and the last time we stayed there it was free. The on-site restaurant had a good breakfast but we did not try the lunch or dinner.
