Reload browser
I got some recipes off a website and within a few days I could not open up any of the recipes. A box would appear which told me to "Please press reload in your browser". My wife and I can't figure this out. So, what does this mean and how do I press reload? Thanks. BEL

Checked my Norton software and it runs automatically and last ran this morning. I checked my recipe favorites and same request comes up. Thanks for your reply. Any other suggestions. BEL

'Reload' = 'Refresh' ... means the same thing. Try clicking on your browser's Refresh button.

My house computer was getting so slow it was embarrasing so I figured I'd try and load Mozilla Firefox instead of Internet Explorer. Man what a difference, it runs like it did when it was new. Might be worth a try.

I quit using Internet Explorer and switched to Firefox years ago, never looked back.

If you keep your Internet explorer updated and dump your temp files and clean history it works well .

We need a little more info. What do you mean "got some recipes off a website"? Did you download these recipes? Or did you just "view" them from the website? What is the website? They might have moved or deleted the recipes, might've just been "posts" by another user...
There's so many variables, it's impossible to know what the problem is.
If you give us the actual url of the site and/or the recipe itself, we might be able to help.

Dave
I went back to look for the website address and other info you might require and discovered if I look for the recipes on the actual website it works. When I try to look at the recipes on my downloaded recipes spreadsheet, it still won't bring them up. It actually worked for a couple of days but not now. i will be ok, and thanks for all the attempted help. By making me go back, Dave, you helped me out. Thanks. BEL

Play it safe BEL, download a copy of malwarebytes from malwarebytes.org and do a full scan of your system. I wouldn't put full faith in Norton whatsoever.
My friends wife has hooked some viruses and malware from recipe sites.
Do grab a copy of ccleaner and run it. I will do a great job on cleaning the crap out of your computer.

thanks Silver. With all this talk about viruses, etc, we are thinking about how to change things around. Thanks to all. BEL
