I got it for $149 on sale at the start of the season ly , worth every penny. It is the ultimate "hole hopper's" tool.

I spent several days on gull last year scouting perch on the "weed edge". With this I could drill 10 holes in a line 6' apart and using my phone to just walk and drop the camera to find it everytime.

Neither the new Marcum wifi pan camera for 369 is 10 time the machine as any of those and will fully function at 300 feet tested it myself.

They went up In price will never see them for 180 again I think it was a test run by vexilar. But like I said in previous post don't bother with either get the Marcum you won't regret it.

Ly= Last year.

I got it from sportsmansguide.com last season on sale and they had a free shipping event so I lucked out.

I looked at the new marcum and as usual its a quality unit. However their software is "not compatible" w/my Nexus 7 (tried to download on device through google play and no go).

The FishPhone works like a charm on any device I've tried Android or iOS so do with that what you will.

Cheers.

I would go with the PanCam. With the free app you can share the feed with others, link many cameras and even grab their tablet and link other MarCum hardware.

Worth the money especially if you don't go overboard on tents, augers, hi-end Frabill gear, propane heaters, SnoBear...

is the camera on the marcum MUCH better than velexar or aqua view? is the panning thing worth it? what is the advantage to panning? does it pan 360 degrees?

Thanks

All you would need to do is find bottom and raise it to desired height. Then find your hook by the push of a button.

I find in cold weather as the cord relaxes it has to be adjusted. And finding your lure can be finicky when spinning the cord.

Think it's worth 100$. But I went for the cheapest unit in the first place so not too worried.
