Default Cascade Lake trophy perch

Anyone fished Cascade Lake in SW Idaho for trophy perch? Is it worth the trip and any other comments would be appreciated. I would like to try Cascade Lake or Devil's Lake in North Dakota for their mega perch.
Thanks

I've fished Devils Lake on three or four occasions. Let me know if you have any questions.

Ive fished both devils and cascade. Both are about the same driving time from Calgary. Both are phenominal perch fisheries and are both very different. Long story short, Devils lake compared to cascade is like fishing for stunted perch here verse a lake with 10 inch keepers. Cascade wins HANDS down. Where else is a 14 inch perch nothing to get excited about. Numerous 16 inchers caught this year. I witnessed 6 myself including two that were 16 3/4.

Ice is only good from beginning of January til the end of February, some years you get a week or two on either end.

This year is a long ice season... they are still ice fishing there. When I was there in beginning of February it seemed like things were already breaking up as there was open water and guys going through. Now they have 15 inches of ice and lots of snow. Maybe another week or two out there unless it gets hot.

This is what an average 9.5 inch alberta like perch looks like beside a cascade perch.

So how long does a lake last? I wonder how long cascade will produce.
