Default Mountain Goat outfitters

Any recommendations on goat outfitters? Looking more at the west coast than the interior but I'd consider anywhere

My suggestion is to look at outfitters on Kodiak Island They have the highest density of anywhere in Alaska can get 2 over the counter tags Enjoy it where ever you decide to go!!

Bolen Lewis would be well worth a look. I've also heard great things about Wild Coast.

A ton of good options in the Kootenays and northern rockies as well. Just a different hunt/experience/trophy quality as well though.

After moving to BC chasing goats has likely been one of the highlights, such awesome critters to chase around the hills.

Did you do a regular hunt or did you do one of the scout hunts? I really want nice hair so he suggested October instead of august. If I had to choose between a 9 inch goat with awesome hair or a 10.5 inch short hair goat, I would go 9 inch all day long.

I've chatted with Angus- he was a super straight shooter and very helpful. Really hope to swing a goat hunt with him in the next couple of years.

FYI Wild coast is no longer in business, he sold out to the anti's, also know as the raincoast conservation foundation.

Foundations (Anti’s) have purchased several of the outfitters so that the allocations don’t get used. Seems as though buying out the outfitters happened more so in the BC Central Coast area.

My brother is an outfitter, he owns Beaverfoot Outfitting it is near Golden BC so actually really close and easy to get to. He has really good success with goats. You can checkout his website if you like. http://beaverfootoutfitting.com/

I have chatted with Angus at wild cost a few times now and seems like a great guy. He is definetly at the top of the list right now.

Not on the coast but I hunted with Logan Peasley (Peasley Hunts) last October, it was a blast. Goat had fantastic hair (mid-October), can't wait to get it back from the taxidermist. If you want any more info feel free to send me a PM.
