Default Livingstone July Long

besides it being crazy busy up there. I imagine it is run off and weather dependant. I usually dont fish that area till later in the summer. Do any of you guys have nay experience on the livingstone that early?

we are gonna spend the long weekend (Friday the 29 june - July 1) camping / fishing up there

thanks

Don't take my spot... seriously.

haha, kidding aside, It should be fine for Canada day... May be a little high, but we will certainly find out.. In the past I have done very well during that time, but I usually do pretty well regardless where I go when I fly-fish.

Just make sure you read the river properly!

And yes, it is going to be stupid busy that weekend... There is a huge rave party that happens that weekend every year... If I were you I would stay away from that or you will have to deal with pounding music the whole time.

Stay out of my spot too J/K

Definitly going to be crazy busy. All the prime spots will be taken early.
I'm heading out either Wed night or Thurs morning before the long weekend.
Not expecting to get a prime spot.
Water will be high as the southern rivers are just starting to clear up.
Never a bad day casting on the river though. Just depends on if you want to nimph or not.
