Default Guided Cougar Hunting in Alberta or BC Recommendations

Does anyone have any recommendations for guided cougar hunting in Alberta or BC? It will be for a US hunter who is after a large tom

Jason Martyn of Lone Pine Outfitting. Very professional and his dogs are amazing.
Jason donated a cougar hunt to the Alberta Wild Sheep Foundation for them to draw as a prize for the annual Youth Sheep Camp. My older son was lucky enough to win the draw!
He treed at least one cat per day, and in the last hour of the last day, this beauty Tom, and Conner took his shot.
Great guy. Couldn’t recommend more.

Brian Chorney puts up a lot of cats every year also. Big Cat outfitters is the name I believe.

If looking for a US hunter, Kelly or Byron are the two best choices. They hold applicable allocations.

I took a great Tom with Kelly last winter.

Byron is the best there is, I wouldn’t consider going with anyone else

I’ll warn you though, there isn’t a man on the planet that thinks more highly of himself. So be prepared for multiple days of listening to him tell you how every other outfitter sucks and how their dogs are trash.

But, you’ll get your cat 👍

Anywhere from 13K-16K USD for a non resident. Might be able to find one for 11K-12K USD maybe.
