Default forestry trunk south nordegg

Just a heads up to anyone thinking of heading down there. Ram above the falls was pretty dead for me, on small creek I fish every year and do exceptionally well in there were no fish to speak of (and I walked it maybe 2.5km), elk had fish but they were quite skittish (one brown I'd caught much earlier in the year took off on me because I stuck my head out from behind a bridge 25 feet away). That whole area wasn't doing it for me and I might suggest writing it off this year if it's a significant trip time wise. One deep, deep hole in the ram was filled in so much with gravel I could now walk across it. Some water looks good but not too much happening. Might be better below the falls, I don't know

I did hit shunda lake but it was very windy and I also tried the beaver dam due to a story my dad told me about it but there wasn't much happening.

That flood did a lot of damage. North of Nordegg is about the same.

Blackstone river north of nordegg cut off on the chungo road. At the bridge start trekking up stream. There are some monster pools and some decent size fish.
