Default Spring Bobber set-up???

Looking for reviews on a spring bobber ice fishing set-up???
I'm thinking of getting one.

Depends on what species your are fishing for. For walleye, one of the best I've seen is homemade using 16 ga piano wire available at any music store. Essentially it is a loop of the wire with a colorful bead slid partway over it making a small eyelet which is bent down to keep the bead on (line passes through it) and extends off the rod tip, not sure on how it was attached though.

For perch, I take a rod that has a really soft tip and cut off the last eyelet, leaving a short section of the rod. I buy a pkg of 3 Marmish spring bobbers, they come with rubber attachment. They come in different sesitivities and can also be further adjusted on the rod as well.

Google images of spring bobbers and you will see what I mean.

I got a couple for perch from this guy it was about 13 bucks for 2. They work great much better than a spring bobber.

That action bite indicator looks good for wallys , pretty much identical.
