Default Lac st. Anne

I am heading to lac st. Anne tomorrow to try and fill my walleye tags. I usually fish around gunn/yellowstone but would like to try around rock island. Where is a good spot to set up, close to the island? Between the island and the shore? Or towards the center of the lake? Or nowhere near the island?

Thanks in advance,
Gongshow

Default Good luck

Give the west side of the island a try in about 15-18 ft of water

I've always had good luck there in the summer.

I've got to head out there one day to try to fill my tags as well so I'd be interested in knowing how you do Gongshow.

there is a thin rock line from the rock pile heading south east.....its tough to find but if you troll a slow moving double tail in the summer time you will find it. In the winter you have to be careful cause the ice heaves withing 20 feet of that spot, in past years come feb 12 or so you should be able to target the big girls right close to that strip of rocks, its about 5 wide goes about 40 feet SE
