Can anyone recommend an ice fishing guide around Calgary? I've only ever gone twice myself and want to get out with my kids. Instead of buying all the gear and then figuring out they don't love it I thought I would try it first then buy all the gear... for once.
I Found a couple ads online but prefer recommendations over google.

How far are you looking to go? I hear spray lakes can be good for lake trout, just check out some hydro maps and pick out some good areas. lots of people fish by the boat launch, but I wold try my luck around the campsite about half way down the lake. I havnt been out there this year, hopefully I can get out in the next week or two though. best of luck to ya!

Wapiti sports in Canmore do trips to spray, they did a couple of yrs ago, but pretty sure they sill do..
