Default 2014 goals

Who's got some 2014 fly fishing goals?

This year I wanna catch a golden trout.

I also want to go and figure out the Sheep.

And a 14"+ trout on a 2 or 3wt would be nice!

3 Foot Long + bull trout. If i fish hard this summer, which i plan to... whole reason im slaving away this winter, its gonna happen.

My fly related goals of 2014

Build my 2wt creek rod
Fish more in BC
Get married in August
Hope she lets me fish more
Learn to fish stillwater more efficiently

Me too lots of fun on that creek last year. lots of big rainbows. Also some exploring on new creeks I have never fished before.

Where do you plan on going to catch golden trout?
I am planning a hike to michelle lakes this summer.

I've got a new goal.. I wanna climb to the top of a mountain, drink half of a large canteen of homemade grappa, fall in a pile and sleep it off and then hike off the mountain in the dark with a vicious dirtyassed hangover......no wait......................... never mind, it's just a flashback

Try for some more World Record tippet class Lake Whitefish and then Rocky Mountain Whitefish .. do some more Stillwater on Maligne

I'd like to cross a golden off the bucket list. There is Barnaby lakes that holds them as well, its a little closer to castle mountain and easier to access than rainy ridge as far as my research goes. We should get a posse together and hike in...

My goal this year is to learn to cast the bamboo rod I bought last winter and hopefully catch a fish with it.After all this time using a zenith and a bvk it's tough too slow down enough!
