Officials are moving him to medium security prison.
So he is getting a less harsh sentence now for murdering young girls.
The justice system needs a major overhaul.

The justice system needs a major overhaul.
Problem being, the Charter of Rights and Freedoms is firmly on the criminal's side.

The only good reason would be to give someone a clear shot from outside the fence.

Not even necessarily a clear shot, I'd be ok with someone taking a quartering shot in poor light. A hit to the guts would be just fine with me.

Honestly most max prisons are a lot nicer than the mediums. Bigger newer cells, if your lucky enough to land in an siu (formerly known as seg) you get to play games with workers, almost unlimited phone,rec, time etc. At least in a medium maybe someone will try to become famous by killing him.

Even if they did bring back capital punishment, he would not have met his end in a painful way. They would have made sure he went peacefully.
Put him in with a couple of real mean bulls (not dehorned of course) and hang him upside down. No mask on, let him see it coming. Let the bulls use him as a piñata. If he survives then they can euthanize him.

Put his demise on as a TIK TOK moment. Then watch the views. Of course it won't happen. He should not be able to walk in freedom. His fate should have been the same as the two lives he destroyed. I wouldn't even give him the satisfaction of a burial. Would put him in a pool of crocs or gators.

I lived through it and hung around in the same circles, same bars, know the house, heard about the wedding. Saw the cars that were stopped and identified with stickers. It was a tough time in the Niagara region.
Then he was caught. Incarcerated. Then my sister, my sister of all people dated the guy that beat him (Bernardo) up in Kingston pen. It was truly a bad time. I agree she should be rotting with him!
