Default Model 1912 problem

I have an old 16 Gauge model 1912 that is in good condition other than when pumping out a fired shell it will occasionally let more than one slide out of the magazine binding up the one already in place . Their is a small retention spring on the side that I believe is to blame . This doesn't happen very often but is annoying when it does .
Can you still get parts for them in Canada ?
Is their a particular gunsmith that is familiar with 1912's ?
Is the fix worth more than the gun ?
This particular gun was dated back to 1914 ( first year for the 16 ) and has the shorter chamber .
Thanks in advance for any info
