Default Gunsmith needed for my Ruger Mini 14 Target

Hi I am looking for a gunsmith in the Edmonton area who can do a trigger job on my new Ruger Mini 14 Target.
It has a long hard trigger pull that needs to be fixed.
Thanks.

The guys at Milarm should be able to give you the number for a guy named Dean Fraser. I think his business is called "The Tactical Advantage" or something of the sort.

Brownells sells/sold at least one adjustable trigger for them.
A quick google turned up accuracy sytems, and jard both make adjustable triggers for them.

I shipped my trigger group to Brimstone Gunsmithing in Yacolt Washington.
Check them out online. For only $35 they will smooth out and lighten the rough and heavy trigger pull and do it all in 1 week turnaround. They were great to talk to on the phone and seem very knowledgable.

After market trigger is a pretty easy fix in the mini 14. Did mine last year, bought a whole assembly, and the trigger comes out super easy. Gun is designed to come apart super easy for the most part without tools. YouTube has links that showed me

Just wondering if there's any further experience or referral available for this trigger job.

Anybody know if there's any hassle sending the trigger group to the U.S. for smoothing, etc. and then getting it back into Canada?
