Often I have been exhausted on trout streams, uncomfortable, wet, cold, briar scarred, sunburned, mosquito bitten,
but never, with a fly rod in my hand have I been in a place that was less than beautiful.

My go at pike flies. Maybe tied one or two flies prior and wanted to try it again. Just used stuff in a old box of fly tying material the father in law had.
Mainly followed Youtube videos. Messed up on the dragon tail hook up, but several rounds of superglue and small zipties later, they are on there hahah.

A type of fly that works very well for giant Lake trout in the NWT.

Some nice flies in there!
I've been enjoying tying some wet flies recently, especially the Clyde style ones, they worked great on shy trouts:
