Resizing brass issues

The combination of the two does make sense, but, if annealing, it may be a bit of a moot point overall. Then a person gets to the donut side of the debate between the two, moving it to the neck base, and the length of the neck, throat, vs seating depth etc. You size the outside, it's pushed inside, then you size the inside to push it back out, and maybe occasionally turn it off, which strikes me as a questionable operation. That's a rabbit hole and a half.

It certainly is. I’ve gone back and forth numerous times. Much to the chagrin of my wallet.

I was going to suggest the very thing, good catch.

Just a note if you clean out your die with something like brake clean or another aerosol cleaner be sure to swab the inside of the dies with a VERY thin coating of oil/lube on a Qtip. Also another thing that "could" be going on is the little vent hole in the die body is plugged and not allowing air to escape.

If you're going this route you will need a body die or FL die at some point.

I didn't ignore this post! ..... I did start to look into it starting with the link you posted and a lot of what I've learned makes sense.

Yet another rabbit hole to go down.
