Default Monster Walleye

Here is a picture of a supposed 23lb Walleye caught on Devils lake. It looks a lot suspicious to me. All the big Walleye pics I see are of fat hogs. This one is long like a big pike. If this was a true pic do you not think it would be MUCH heavier than 23lbs? Just a wierd looking pic. What do you guys think?

Default Walter

Wasnt that picture floating around last year as well? I am sure i did see that somewhere on the net.

This picture here is of a 12 to 14 poinder Liz caught at Pigeon. We never did weigh it or measure it but it is the biggest Wally i have ever seen. Ive got pretty good sized hands and i couldnt grab this fish behind the ears to take the hook out.

I figured someone would have seen that pic before. It just isn't what a big walleye looks like. It doesn't have a big head or thick shoulders. It looks like a big pike with the skin of a Walleye. I call BS

I wrote that pic off as a fake before I even clicked on it to see it full size.

There is NO WAY that's real.

Devil's lake is in North Dakota. I'd like to go there some time. Suppose to be great jumbo perch fishing through the ice.

I am so very envious Gunslinger. I have always wanted to fish Tobin but cant see it happening anytime soon. Your one lucky guy.
The ice fish thing got me to. What kind of hole would you need for that?? I sure get a kick out of guys who believe these pics, saying that they know a guy who knows the guy who caught it......uh huh....

It's so obvious you guys. It's the leprechaun's brother. He caught that fish the day before and let freeze over night for the pictures. Thats why it looks the way it does.

Default World Record Walleye

FYI , I think the world record walleye is out of Greers Ferry , Arkansas
25 or 26 lbs. That photo has been around for 3 yrs.
Devils lake is south and east of Grand Forks N.D. USA. a slough
at best does give up the odd good walleye ...I think its 2.3 lbs...
They are going to pump sunfish, pumpkin seeds ,crappie and various other sundry thrash fish into the red river , the greatest walleye
fishery in the whole free world ( ask BB aka NDN ) .
