Default scope repairs

Not a warranty issue, just old scopes ("vintage" would be appropriate) in need of some TLC.
I have a couple of the old steel tube weavers that have shaken loose and started to fog up. What outfit is doing repair work on these "classics"?

Also, bought a gun at auction that had what I expect is a chinese knock-off Zeiss. Hard to tell with some of them. Are these even worth trying to get fixed?

Trace can fix the Weavers and they are the only repair shop I know of in Canada. There are a couple of places in the states that do weaver Unertl etc. You have to decide it it is worth the cost though. If you have period rifles that you want to match the scopes to I can see fixing them, Other than that a $700 Leupold VX 3I when new can also be had used and they are a far better scope than the best old Weaver ever was.

For sure I would not fix the knock off.

^^ This^^
I have these scopes on old pre-64 winchester, 98 mausers, and remington 600/660 bolt guns. Just enjoy going totally vintage for some of my hunts and matching the guns with proper period scopes.
Any newer guns like my Blasers all get treated to Swarovski glass. Been using swaro for 20 years, and have yet to have a scope fail.
