Default RV Satellite

Looking at putting in a TV Satellite in my Fifth Wheel. I don't need one that works during vehicle moving like some of the motorhomes so was looking at the Winegard

Any thoughts from anyone who has done this and thoughts on different brands things to look f for or steer away from

Thanks in advance

You can always get a normal Shaw direct dish on an adjustable tripod. Just set it up whereever you go. Takes about 15 mins once u know what your doing.

And won't cost $3000 like having an automatic one mounted on the roof.

Cheers

The roof mounts work good as long is there is no trees or other obstructions very rare when camping, a tripod system can be installed in minutes with a little practice use a compass to find an open spot facing South and Bob;s your uncle.

A good tripod makes things a lot easier the $75 tripod is hard to adjust, the key is level the dish and turn to the satellite. I have a TRV tripod I ordered from the US makes life much easier.
