anyone know the condition of the forks and area, pics would be appreciated

The forks island has changed for the worse. The camp site on the upstream end is gone. The road that goes down to the beach on the upstream end is gone. About 10ft. of shore is gone from the beach. Now its a 8ft drop down to the water. The worst of it is the snags. Along the whole shore line it's nothing but snags.Must have exposed some bedrock or tree roots. The shore line is full of tree roots makes for bad trips and falls. Oh and the sandfleas this time of year are bad. They last till the middle of Aug. I've seen people camped there but they only stay for 1 night. Going there in the AM the walleyes should be biting early.
