Hey FishinGeek, some nice gators there! I'm heading out this weekend to try my luck. I haven't been fishing there in over a year because my fishing partner (my son) was diagnosed with a bad heart. I wanted to go, but it just didn't feel right to leave my boy at home while i went fishing. He is now at the stage where he can go, but just sit in the boat and fish for a couple of hours. Any chance on giving me some information from your trip? Were you casting spoons, trolling rapalas, areas that were good? I don't normally ask guys for this kind of information, but i won't have a lot of time to go through the trial and error system. You can pm me the info if you want. Thanks.

That sucks. Earlier this summer I had a pike cut my thumb at wab. No stitches, but it was crazy how fast it happened. Tried to get the hook out while it was still in the lake and boom, thumb cut.

ouch! sorry to hear about your thumb. those gators have razor sharp teeth and gills. one second there playing possum while your removing a hook then they explode and start thrashing. hope your back in action soon.
great pics. by the way.

Those are some nice gators!

I haven't hit wab this year yet. I am going to hit it up next weekend though as I'll be camping in the camp ground over night!
