Cochrane Lake

Lake is north of Cochrane or west of calgary or airdrie. Has anybody ever fished this lake. How was the fishing? Shore or boat?

I moved here from edmonton and want to take my 5 year old daughter out fishing a bunch this she fished once last summer wont stop talking about it all winter.

It is supposed to have pike and perch in it, i have attempted to fish it several times once from a boat, from shore and ice fishing all the same result ZERO FISH! The water there is full of weeds and has a bad smell and color. I wont be going back there and wouldn't suggest fishing there. Plenty of other places within an hour to take a kid.

Don't believe everything you read, there are no fish in there never has been and probably never will be it is nothing more than a slough
