Default Crawling Valley

Awesome day on the water. We found the 'honey hole' and had it all to ourselves. Kept enough for a fish fry and returned the rest. Smalles was 5 pounds. Largest was 8 pounds. Water temperature was 54 degrees F. A little cool but it didn't stop the bite. Active depth was 6 - 8 feet. Best lures were Len Thompson yellow and red five of diamonds and a gold and silver Williams Wabbler. So far the shallow rocks have a clearance of about 3 feet but that may quickly change. Know where they are or stay to the deeper water. Only about 3 other boats on the lake with us. We got off just as the wind started to pick up. Sure was good to get the boat wet again.
