Default moose draw

If I would get drawn for riffle moose hunt in a zone that starts in sept 24
can I bow hunt that area that is open for general moose before sept 24.
And if so what tag do I use.As I can only have one moose tag.

You use your one moose tag...the scenario you describe is found in the regulations

It is not a "rifle" moose season is is a general antlered moose season that is on draw.

One thing to look out for next year is that they may go to a draw only for archery and a separate rifle draw. As the regs are now you may hunt a draw with your bow in the zone where you drew the tag and not any other general zone.

Good point!

It pays to read the regs front to back each year and NEVER ASSUME the rules are the same year over year.
