I really like them as well. Pros: Easy target removal, aluminum protects the carbon a bit, fly really well and deep penetration on game. Cons: Quite heavy shafts, loss of some speed, if they are bent and they can, they are done.

I have them and have shot them for the past 3 years out of my DXT with 125 gr Slicks and really like them for big game (read, elk and moose sized). I have just picked up some carbons to try and get some of that speed back for deer sized game with a 100 gr BH.

They are expensive and can bend...but everyone that hunts with them are very impressed and continue to use them...

X2...mine seemed to snap off 2-3 inches back of the insert if they hit something hard.

plus side is though they did penetrate unreal. I think there are better shafts for the $ on the market.
