Forgive my ignorance but what's this spam you speak of? I don't want to be accused of contributing to it.

Autobot emailing that simply plugs up the forums and phishes for email addresses, etc.
Unless you see it before it is reported and deleted, you won't know it is there.

I saw it last night, and was going to post, but with all that spam figured what's the use. Man, that is the worst flood I have seen.

I said it in the thread that was deleted and I will say it again.
We need to make it so that all new members need approval before they post.
This is common is most forums.
This helps eliminate spam and it also helps cut down on reboot members.

Plus it saves on daily spam

I like having fun with them, I know it was stated its a spam bot but maybe who ever this originates from actually reads the replies. I had some good zingers on replies.

There has to be a better way to deter these people. Maybe change it to a limit one can post in an hour on their first month thingy. I know playing 3 word story makes you wait 30 seconds before posting again. Seems simple from here but maybe not so on the commuter programming side, Duno.

They are not actual people but spam bots.
