Favorite "catch all" ice lure.
I know we all have our favorite lures for certain species but I'm just wondering if anyone else has a favorite lure that seems to specialize in catching just about anything that swims? Mine would be the green "crushed ice" color Swedish Pimple in size 3 or 5 tipped with a small minnow. I've caught perch to pike and everything in between on these badboys. On a lake with a variety of species I like to dangle one of these, knowing that whatever swims by theres a good chance it will take a swipe at it. Anyone else?

Plain nickel Swedish Pimple. Not sure the size # but I like the one between 1 and 2 inches long.
Bait varies, but a chunk of minnow with a gulp maggot to keep the bait on the hook will get trout, pike, perch, and even a walleye or two if you're lucky.
And for non-lures, a jighead/minnow combo.

small red and white or yellow 5 o'diamonds len thompson. Has to be a lenny and not some cheap knock off.
I think I've caught just about everything with that thing.
Cheers.

What are you sinking them with? I've had realy good luck through the ice fishing a nymph dropshot style but using a small Swedish Pimple instead of splitshot. Lots of time the Pimp picks up the big girls but even if they arent hitting the pimp it gets the nymph to the bottom in a hurry.

I am sad to report that I am not sure what this is called-But it is deadly.
Can be tied to fish vertically or horizontally

I like the ice fishing style rappalas. When jigged properly you can get them swimming a 5-6 foot circle around your hole. That being said don't go but any, they're hard enough to find as is!
Don't use them when theres two guys beside each other in the tent! That ends in a big mess

basically, it's a nymph p-rig just like the flyfisher's use without the bobber ("indicator")
You can attach the nymphs via snell, dropper loop, dropper lines or I'm sure by other means.
Weight goes on the very end.
You can active fish it by pounding the weight off the bottom (especially rocks) and making a commotion, then waiting a minute.
Or you can jig it.
Or you can just let it sit there......and wait.....
You can bait it up as well.
Typically I use size 16 or 18 hooks, but you can use bigger or smaller depending on what you are imitating and/or targeting.
Little scud patterns, boatmen, prince nymphs, zugbugs and tons of other patterns work well.
Again, depends where you are and what you are targeting.

Berkley Atomic teaser. (scented small version of a bass tube jig) Gives tons of action with the tails and swims in wide circles when jigged.

One that immediately pops into mind is the red glow Northland Macho Minnow. I pull off the treble and attach it with a snap swivel. Unhook the treble and thread it through a minnow head then snap it back on. You know when you have a bite that its hooked because nothing can steal your bait. I can't really pick a favorite though because I find it varies so much from lake to lake, day to day, hour to hour, maybe even minute to minute.

I use a board with notches carved into it for jigging. My lure is nothing special its actually just a p.rig with 1 arm on it. I use a minnow with a powerbait grub to hold it onto a 1/0 - 2 hook. I like to keep it simple.

x4
I add a cisco with a little stinger in the tail, but I have taken lakers, walleye, ling cod and even coaxed a whitefish to grab one through the ice.

Silver cast masters.
I have caught Arctic Grayling, Rainbow Trout, Lakers, Walleye, Pike and Perch on those during the ice and open water seasons.
