Default What's Meadow Lake P.P. like in August for family camping?

As the title says, just considering a trip to Meadow Lake PP in Sask during August.

*Still decent fishing somewhere in the Park during the dog days of summer? We'd like to keep some walleye, if possible.
*Are some of the lakes still swimmable, or will the algae hurt my dog and give the kids swimmer's itch?
*It's a big park, any particular lake to recommend? We'll have powerboats and canoes.
*And, of course, kid friendly campgrounds with playgrounds, amenities (like power)

Thanks in advance.

If you have kids I'd stick with Kimball lake. The best beach and no itch. Can always fish Mistohay, 3rd Mustus etc for walleye. Later in August the crowds are mainly gone.

I will definitely second Kimball. I’ve been going there since I was about 12 years old (49 now), as my friends have a cabin there. There is great walleye fishing right on Kimball. No worries about algae or swimmers itch. Nice sandy beaches. Great CG and amenities. Etc etc etc.

The Mustus lakes (only like 5km away) are great fishing as well. Rusty Creek and lake as well.

I love it up there.
