Default Gull Lake ice

How's the ice thickness on Gull? Haven't been out this year as no fishing partner. But perhaps next week if one of the boys comes up from Lethbridge during "reading week" as college let's out.........Harold

Default Gull

Where is the best place to see any whites? Depth of water to start? Color of hook? Just looking for a starting point for the hunt to see some whites and possibly catch one. Would be my first. LOL

Thinking of brownlows in 8 fow with a brass colored wire worm. Does this sound good to you? Thinking the best time would be about 10:00 in the morning.

Do they seem camera shy there? And do they tend to stay at the bottom or suspended there?

Was at Brownlows yesterday in 10 FOW. Saw 1 whitefish, but we were trying for pike and perch. Ice was 27 in thick. We did see the whitefish at 10:30 about 2 feet below the ice. Good luck

I agree with that full moon as a rule means little if any fish.
