Fathers day fishing...

So I want my 2 sons to come with me fishing on Sunday and the only experience they have had is with me at Lake Minnewanka with no luck. They are losing interest having never caught a fish and I'm wondering if you have any suggestions for a better lake in the area? I like Minnewanka because we can rent a boat but are there any other lakes in the area with rentals where the fishing might be better?

I dont have a ton of experience so its kinda like fishing for dummies

try fishing crawling valley for walleye. cast from the dike with minnows on a pickerel rig and you can catch them easily.
