I bought a used on with the RAK setup on it. Basically ready to shoot. The rest isn't great. It's a whisker bisquit style but not full capture. The brushes wear down quickly.

I put a drop away on it and I like it munch better. The bow is nice and light and draws well. I'm very happy with mine.

I have one seems to shoot well. I agree the brush style rest was horribly inconsistent and lost hairs quickly making it frustrating to shoot repeatably. I also upgraded to a drop away and wish I would have replaced it sooner. The stock site was ok not horriible but I came from a 25 year old pse f2 that was really basic.

My first and only bow.

Pros:
*Good overall package for the price
*Draw weight spectrum for the bow is awesome
*Smooth draw even near 70#

Cons:
*You'll want to UG the rest (as others have said) sooner than later
*The sight is fine, just not great

Unless you want really fancy or just released stuff, I don't see a better option than walking into Jim Bows and walking out with one of these.

To answer your original question, I haven't noticed vibration as an issue at all, even with shooting session ~1hr or more. Little basis for comparison though.

It’s only my second compound but it’s shot great for me and I don’t know why I’d ever upgrade the bow. I pulled a full capture whisker biscuit off my first bow and I love it for hunting.

I think I paid $850 new for mine but they come up on Kijiji now and then for $600ish.

The one I bought used had a case, some arrows, and a release for $550.

I shot it with that crappy rest for a year. I wish I would have put the QAD on there right away. It made a big difference.

I love this bow. If I were to upgrade, it would have to be another carbon fiber bow. The light weight makes it such a pleasure to shoot.

What made you go with the prime? Fit you better.

I like my Icon, it’s the only bow I’ve shot, but with the QAD rest and a different sight it’s very repeatable.
