Default I Think I am runied.

Well two new CZs turned up this weekend thanks to Clay and Prophet River.
CZ 452 American .17HMR & 452 Lux in .22mag.
Had a play and on .17 trigger last night, shimmer sear witch removed creap. Ordered a timmey for .22mag.
Installed scopes, and sighted in to day. .17 5 shot groups are one raggered hole at 50m, mag just about as good, was shooting 1' 10shot groups at 25m with open sights with .22mag before installing scope.
There was a young lady learning to shot a .22 with her boyfriend, But he was starting her off with a .22 semi standing at targets. I put up some cans full with water, and had her sit and blow them up, with .17, You couldn't wipe the smile off.
Had the 10/22 but didn't get half a mag and was bored.
Why is noisy and faster so much more fun. I like my cars and woman like that Gess rimfires too.

I would say that the .22mag lux is shooting about 1.25" at 100yards. had some good groups at 50 about penny in size (5 SHOT) seamed to have one flyer in every 2nd group that pushed size out to over quarter. Trigger has too much creep and am only using 6 power scope, Might tighten up a bit with trigger job and better scope. But .22mag ammo an't match .22 or .17 quality.
The .17HMR is far better about 3/4' at 100. Am very happy with both rifles.
Regards Kiwi

So many satisfied CZ owners. I love mine.

Great item for a price that most people can pay. I guess that's why they are so popular.

I have a 452 Lux in .22mag I was just shooting yesterday. Sighted in for 100 yards. Would often get two shots within less than an inch and the third might be a couple inces away. What ammo have you tried and what have you found to work best for your gun? I was shooting CCI, Remington, and WInchester all in 40g JHP. The CCi seemed to be the best (slightly).

why don't you ask Clay yourself Bing?, is it so you can say you can find it cheaper somewhere else?

Okotokian I am using CCI gamepoint 40g and maxi-mag hp 40g, far better results with gamepoint. Wouldnt read too much into .22 mag groups as only fired 3 at 100m, most were at 50m, and may have fluked it, like most of us you tend to Quit after a few good groups. This rifle is far better than both the other 2 mag rimfires that I have owned. 17 twice as good
Must start using spell check. I before N= ruined.
Not sure this is the right place to be saying prices, Clay is very competive and has great service. hence I call him First.

Default .22 magnum

Before everyone runs out and buys a .22 magnum, better check on the ammo supply. I worked with a guy not long ago who was trying to find some rounds and after visiting every store in Calgary I think he had to have a friend send some ammo from Montreal. Maybe he just had bad luck with his timing, but it's worth asking the question. Without bullets it's a hammer.

Thats what I will try first,, may take a few different ammo selections, but if the 22 WMR is anything like like my last CZs, it should shoot.

I have a CZ catalog and their newest mag that states we can change barrels on our rifles to other calibers .17 and .22WMR

Anyone done this?
