Guys, the calculator I found online said 30lbs.

IN NO WAT WAS THIS FISH 30 lbs.

I'm being pretty fair when I said 20lbs because he was extremely thick

Argue all you want with it, but it's my biggest jack to date, and I'm very pleased with it.

nice try though.
I think you need to learn how to read english and maybe update your prescription eyewear...theres 2 DIFFERENT fish.

my friends river pike at 41 inches was just over 13 pounds, yet my friend matts wabamun pike 40 incher was at 20 pounds, all weighted fish. so it all depends.

Graffy91....word of advice.....it is not even worth responding to the folks who bash your pics....you know you caught a nice fish and thanks for sharing it.

Usually the folks who bash have no pics to share....

I gotta comment.

Guys have quit posting pics due to snotty comments. Who cares, I would rather see the pics than read someone pick the post apart. Send a PM if you want (No scratch that, say nothing). Most everyone knows what the fish weighs and pic perspective can change a lot. Hold it a bit closer to the camera and it changes.

AO has been doing very well at "leaving it alone" of late. Let's try and keep it going.

Nice fish.

BWAAAAAAAHAHAHA are you suggesting that this fishs tail ends in the exact same point where it appears to begin?

Go catch a big fish.
Im not saying the fish ends there, but i have never seeen a pike with an 8" tail either. All I am saying is the fish's nose is an inch away from the right side of the bench and then probably hangs over 3-4" so that would make it an even 40" still a great catch don't get me wrong but if you are going to post pictures of measurements don't exaggerate the size the proof is in the picture. And as a side note on weight I put all of mine scale that are over 30" and my heaviest this year at wab was 11.5lb and 38" now your looks heavier so i would give it a good 15lb a nice 40" fish

Now we can skip that...

Thanks for posting, good to see some great fish in Wabamun, while I am not against catching and keeping and don't care for Catch and Releasers being self righteous....

I am wondering if the lake stays catch and release what kind of hogs it could produce!...
