Default Burbs

When is the major spawn fro the Burbots and the best time to catch them. I was thinking it should be on right now but not hearing much about it. Anyone been out with a camera and seen any of the balled up spawning action lately?

let you know tomorrow night. Taking my camera out. Not sure where I will end up yet, either gull or ste anne. Where is the best location for burbs and whites on gull, I was there 2 weeks ago, found my limit of burbs, but only saw one whitefish. I was out from the outlet by the point north of brownlows, weedy bottom!

Find sand and you'll find burbot. Usually the east side anywhere along Wilson's beach has produced for us. Wait til Sunday though.

Ling in our lakes should be in full spawn and taking anything that moves near em. Bottom bouncing a 3/8 jig with a small smelt will get em. You need a spot that has a drop off and leads to a bay with a rock/gravel bottom- they don't lay eggs or milt in the sand!!! Travers is where i will be on sunday
