Yes, Open creek has rainbows and suckers. There are springs that feed in there so be careful. Fishing was ok for us when we went back in November. Medicine lake is good for hammer handle pike, and there are supposed to be Perch in there. Haven't been this year, but last year I put 2 full days in all over the lake looking for perch, and couldn't find any. Didn't have a camera so not sure if they just weren't biting or what.

Smile Medicine lake

I was out at medicine lake today and caught 2x pike average around 18 to 19 inches each weighing around 6 pounds each it was the best action I've ever had. Dovyou know where all them guys are catching them perch from nobody tells anyone information its like they own the lake its so secret. I better not tell anyone about my hot spot at medicine lake

Really, a 18-19" pike weighing 6lbs??? I think you either need a new scale, or a new tape measure...

I suggest if you want some action put yourself in position where you are able to fish more than one lake in a day and pack a good lunch. Then tell the wife today's when the fish are biting I'm going out fishing to bring dinner home. Enjoy the fishing

That would be a record weight for a 19" pike...... I think I need to get a new scale

Now 'THAT' is something I would love to see. Seen pike eat mice and ducklings but never a muskrat, especially a huge 18 inch 6 pounder.
