Inventions by man

Everything else.... now what's the score.

and no I'm not a sexist, I keep reminding my wife that woman are equal to men, but she still wont pick up dog cr@p, lift the heavy stuff or hold the door for me.
And ya When I need something sewn, I do it myself.
I guess there's no real gentlewoman out there...

No wonder they didn't get the housework done.

I'll bet if some of the guys here put there minds to it there could be quite a list of things women have come up with.

Default good one...lol

I didn't mean to imply that women have not contributed at all...just that the number and importance of their inventions have not been as great as men. And NO...I am not trying to imply that men are "better" than women...just that it's interesting to note the differences in how men and women TYPICALLY think. Whether that has been a result of nature or nurture is a debate for another time. Perhaps in the future women will become the main inventors.

By the way, Marie Currie made significant contributions in the field of radioactivity research and Xray machines..I believe she also suggested the use of radioactivity in the treatment of cancer.

Felix Wankel invented the rotary engine (not sure how Marg Knight got in there with that), and the circular saw had been around long before Tabitha "adapted" it to use as a saw mill.

"Saws are toosl with a thin metal strip with teeth on one edge or a thin metal disk with teeth on the periphery. In 1777, Samuel Miller invented the circular saw in England, the round metal disk type of saw that cuts by spinning and is used hand-held or table-mounted. Large circular saws are found in saw mills and are used to produce lumber. In 1813, Shaker-Sister, Tabitha Babbitt (1784-1854) invented the first circular saw used in a saw mill. Babbitt was working in the spinning house at the Harvard Shaker community in Massachusetts, when she decided to invent an improvement to the two-man pit saws that were being used for lumber production. Tabitha Babbitt is also credited with inventing an improved version of cut nails, a new method of making false teeth, and an improved spinning wheel head.
In 1807, William Newberry invented a band saw. In 1780, Gervinus also invented a circular saw, however, a more primitive one."

What about the "Headache"

They get them, they give them, they use them for an excuse.

Other noteworthy inventions by women.

'Fine' When they say that word, they are anything but fine, and in womanspeak it means 'fine...you get your way this time, but I am just gonna pause here, and if you screw up once more this week, YOU WILL PAY'

'Lord of the Rings Trilogy'
1.Engagement Ring. AKA 6 months salary all shrink down into something called a Carat. That's the bait for all the free lovin' a guy could want. The woman dotes on him, caters to his every need, and even remembers to buy beer.

2. Wedding Ring. That's the simple little one without some expensive Carats on it. Relax, take a deep breath and when the guy in the long robes pauses, look at the pretty girl in white and say those 2 magical words. 'I Do'.

3. Suffering. Totally Free. You don't spend one single dime on this one. But you do PAY FOR IT the rest of your life.

Translated: where's the remote?
