large pike

Went to rattlesnake lake for first time this year, me and budsy were nailing pike like mad, largest was 70 cm. Heard that "certain people" have the rights to net the lake and take 20, 000 #s of whitefish per year, 10,000 #s of pike, n a couple thousand #s of wallys per year. Is it ant wonder large fish no longer come outta there? Please correct me if I am wrong? I just wonder how great the fishing could be if netting was banned for a year or 2 or forever. 40,000 fish gettin' large. Could be fun but.......
