Default Grizzly recovery program gets increase in funding

Good to see. Hopefully we will have better results in the future.

Better results will only come with the will to get true numbers.

Something about the timing here? Coincidentally, just about the time a lot of us will be crying for a renewed Hunt. Or, is it just about Funding, not an uncommon deal. "We need to another Study", or I'll lose my house and the children will starve. Maybe a lot more of them are dying cause there are an increased number and more Human Bear encounters ?

Maybe they'll count the rest of the province this time or come up with a number that I truly feel they picked out of the blue...

Just a little side note. Alberta resident and bear biologist John Nagy suffered a stroke about 3 weeks ago. He's in the hospital at U of A and is recovering but he has a long road of recovery ahead. Some AO members probably know John. He's a tremendous person. Pleas send your thoughts and prayers to help John fight through the physical and mental challenges of stroke recovery.

Now back to our regular programming.

Don't know John Nagy, but all i hear from those that do say he's a "tremendous person". Fingers tightly crossed for a positive recovery!
