That is an amazing accomplishment sir! After reading over your story, and looking at the pics, I have to say your greatest 'trophy' is probably your wife and family, for the support they must have given you. Congratulations on a tremendous journey completed. TC

Well what can I say that hasn't been said already???? I'm in awe.....WOW Pat this is simply just AWESOME!!!!!

The 1st I ever heard of you was on Bowsite, you were offering free dvds for your bear camp. You sent me one upon me asking along with everyone else. Then I found A.O. and became an addict like so many others to this site. You posted something and I said hey this is the same guy that was kind enough to send me that dvd. The pic that always sticks out the most(for me) from them, is your stone sheep. I became a follower(FAN) of yours from that point on. Like most, I can only dream of these kind of hunts, until I win the Lotto (deaming) . So I want to THANK YOU for bringing guys like me along for the ride. Your Pics are always wicked and your smile says it all. When I heard you got your BigHorn I knew you would finish your quest this year. I Hope one day our paths cross Sir, I would like to shake your hand. once again my CONGRATS to you and your family, well done!!!!!! Best of luck on your future adventures!!!

MM

Great post. I really was glad to read how much it cost, how long it took you to do it and also what it was you did for a living that allowed you to do it.

I hope you put all the pictures and stories together somewhere on a webpage. That is really impressive.

Should have read the rest before I replied. While it would make a really good webpage, it would also make an excellent book and I would buy a copy for sure.

I don't know you, Pat, but, from what I've seen of you on here over the years, it strikes me that it would be hard to find anyone who could deserve this more. Congratulations on your accomplishment.

I stole this from another site......I just about peed myself laughing!!!!!!!

"At first I thought this was just a wealthy guy throwing his money around. (If I had it this is exactly what I would do.)

Then he said he works on the oil rigs so I figure he's a common guy.

"Then I saw his wife and I thought he's gotta be a rich guy.

Then I saw his hair do in the Musk Ox picture and I'm thinking common guy again because he would have done the Donald on the hair if he had the money.

My final profile of Gunslinger is that he is a middle age male of slightly above average wealth who is hung like a horse with an affinity for having his picture taken with a variety of big dead critters.

Great trophies Slinger! Thanks for sharing. Now get after those sheep!"

Congrats again Slinger'!!!!!!
