If you don't want to enter an animal for the book that's fine I understand but guys who are shooting this big bucks are clearly trophy hunters. They've never asked to see other guys bucks? They can look at other guys big deer but no one can see theirs.... I like seeing big horns even if they aren't mine. Just doesn't make sense to me.

I would hope all those rifles are unloaded but it's the first thing I see when a muzzle is pointing at a person.

Some great animals everyone.

Thumbs up

Some very impressive mulies in this thread. To do it once or twice is something for sure, but the number of you that keep on knocking down big bucks year after year - kudos.

Amazing deer posted so far!

Wow, I look like a fatty back then!

Cheers, Brett

Default Some pics

Not the greatest pics but this is still the MULEY thread........I think

Thanks Potty, glad you like! But I have to say my buck is just a "B" leaguer compared to that beast of yours!

Thanks Pat, I'm pretty sure he'd make P&Y but never even checked.

My 2 bits on entering a deer into the books......well probably never will, the book doesn't mean anything to me BUT I would enter it if I had a potenial #1, but I would LIE my ***** off on where I shot it

Back to the show....

Here are a couple to add to the post I just love those big mule deer. The first 2 are from my 2011 mule deer. The next 2 are from the year before I had the tag, and the last one was a couple of days after I filled my 2011 tag.

That top buck looks stupid big on the hoof. Didn't look nearly as big once on the ground ( still really big). I had photos of a typical this year that was the opposite, didn't impress me that much on the hoof but once on the ground ended up netting 190 and looked big. Do you remember what this guy scored?

It we scored it up at my place after it was shot, we ended up with 203g NT, 195g typ, and 191net typ. These are just green scores + or - an inch or 2.
BUT at the SCWF scoring night it was scored up @ 179net? Can't figure that one out, its going to be rescored.
