I'm looking at replacing my blades on my 8" strike master, the cheapest I've found is $92 , that's gonna bite in to my fishing fund , so any tips for getting them cheaper would be awesome
Thanks

Sharpening isn't an option? If not then you can do a cross reference and use a different brand blade. Some alterations may be necessary.
I looked into it last year, I don't remember what brand(s) would work. I ended up sharpening my Chipper Blade and it worked great. Good luck.

I bought my replacements on Amazon Canada. Some claim they can be sharpened but do not believe that. Tried it with several different places and none of them work. the blades seem sharp but not enough to cut any hole.
Amazon was the best price when I was shopping em.

Forget about it
You are going to have to bite the bullet. Buy an Eskimo, then buy a pair of replacement blades (they are relatively inexpensive) every payday until you have a stock of half a dozen. Maybe you can get $50 for the Strikemaster on Kijiji but I doubt it.

I found the exact same thing. I had mine sharpened, but wanted a set of backups and Amazon was the best price out there. Man, they're hard to find.

Which Strikemaster? Laser?
I have ordered parts from Bay Distributors and they are great. They are the warranty depot in Ontario. I wanted a few accessories that I couldn't find for my Honda 4 stroke and they were able to supply with reasonable prices. There website is not the best, but if you contact them they will help you out.

You can also order from Fishing World: https://fishingworld.ca/
Laser blades are $44.99.
Oh, and I think Dan in the previous post is confused...it's the other way around I love my Strikemaster Honda lite!

Amazon Canada I bought a spare just to have. I also now check the depth through the ice before I start to drill.

These seem to have become really expensive and hard to find, at least the 8" blades. In March of this year I bought a new pair of Strikemaster Swedish 8" blades from Amazon.com for US$35 (plus shipping and duties, but that didn't add too much really). They still list them, and for that price, but they no longer ship to Canada. What? Why?
The blades on Amazon.ca aren't even sold by Amazon, they are from 3rd party sellers, and they are over Cdn$100 when shipping is included.
I went to Wholesale Sports tonight to check their prices, but they don't bring in their ice-fishing stuff like replacement blades, until mid-October.
If Amazon.com starts shipping these blades to Canada again, that's the route to go.

Strange because I have bought 2 pair of the 8" Swedish blades at Amazon Canada and both times were under 70 around 63 if I remember correctly.
Bass Pro should have some in shortly but they do seem to sell out quick and make sure they are not the Chinese ones, had a pair and they lasted at best 25 holes before one broke
