I want one! Too bad it comes with an 8" blade and you have to buy the 10" for an extra $170.

i do a yearly trip to lake Athabasca, unfortunately with work we have to plan these trips weeks ahead and cant pick and choose our time to go.

last year it was minus 40 when we hit the lake. would hate not to have an auger work when we get there.

so to answer your question. northern Alberta gets to minus 40 regularly in deep winter and i fish in it. lol

Wow I don't know if I can justify spending that much for an auger

And a good chance you will want to have an extra battery on hand so you will need to add another $300. So with GST close to $1,200.

They are easy on the ears though and for inside an ice hut I am sure they are the ticket.

Default Ion

The auger is great, I've used one a couple of times but I don't think I would use the flush feature, I have visions of ice shavings floating back into the hole the whole time you are fishing.
